Ecommerce Variant Image Sync in HighLevel
Updated: March 19, 2026 | Author: Bill Stilwell
HighLevel Ecommerce Variant Image Sync on the Product Details Page automatically displays the correct product image when a customer selects a variant – choosing ‘Blue’ shows the blue product image; choosing ‘Large’ shows the large-size image. Configure variant images in the product catalog for each variant option. Variant image sync improves the shopping experience and reduces cart abandonment from customers unsure of what a selected variant looks like.
How Variant Image Sync Works
In the HighLevel Product Catalog, each product variant can have its own assigned image or set of images.
When a customer views the Product Details Page and selects a variant (size, color, style), the product image on the page automatically updates to show the image associated with that variant.
This dynamic image swap requires no custom code – it is built into HighLevel’s e-commerce product page rendering.
Setting Up Variant Images
In the Product Catalog, open the product and navigate to the variants section. For each variant option, upload the variant-specific image.
Test the variant image sync by viewing the product on the storefront and selecting different variant options – verify the images update correctly.
High-quality, consistent images for each variant improve conversion – customers are more confident purchasing when they can see exactly what each variant looks like.
