How Pipeline Duplication Works

Pipelines are part of the sub-account snapshot. When a snapshot is created from a configured sub-account, the pipeline definitions – names, stages, and stage order – are captured.

When the snapshot is deployed to a new sub-account, the pipelines deploy along with the rest of the snapshot contents.

This is the standard agency workflow: build and refine the pipeline in the template sub-account, capture a snapshot, deploy to new client sub-accounts.

Duplicating a Pipeline Within the Same Sub-Account

Within a single sub-account, creating a new pipeline and manually adding the same stages from an existing pipeline is the practical duplication method.
