SaaS Configurator in HighLevel

Updated: March 19, 2026  |  Author: Bill Stilwell

The HighLevel SaaS Configurator is within SaaS Mode – it defines the subscription plans agencies sell to clients. Configure plan names, pricing, billing intervals, and which HighLevel features are available at each tier. Plans created in the configurator appear on the client-facing signup page. When a client subscribes, their sub-account is automatically provisioned with the features and snapshot associated with their chosen plan. The configurator is the product design tool for the agency’s SaaS offering.

What the SaaS Configurator Does

The SaaS Configurator defines the products an agency sells when reselling HighLevel through SaaS Mode.

Each plan in the configurator has a name, a price, a billing interval (monthly or annual), and a configuration of which HighLevel features are accessible to subscribers on that plan.

Agencies typically create 2 to 4 plans – a basic entry-level plan with limited features, a standard plan with core features, and a premium plan with full access.

Configuring Plan Features

For each plan, the configurator controls which HighLevel feature areas are accessible – which menu items appear in the client’s sub-account, which communication channels are available, and what usage allowances apply.

Feature gating creates meaningful differentiation between plan tiers – a basic plan might include CRM, contacts, and email but exclude SMS and funnels, which are available only on the standard plan.

Plans also associate with a specific snapshot – when a client subscribes to a plan, their sub-account is deployed with the snapshot configured for that plan.

Pricing and Revenue

Price each plan to cover the agency’s HighLevel cost per sub-account, any LC credit usage (accounted for through rebilling), plus the agency’s margin.

The SaaS Configurator connects to Stripe for payment processing – clients enter their payment information on signup and are charged automatically at the configured billing interval.

The agency’s revenue from SaaS Mode subscriptions appears in the SaaS Mode dashboard – showing total subscribers, monthly recurring revenue, and churn.
