Image and Voice Messages in HighLevel Conversations
Updated: March 19, 2026 | Author: Bill Stilwell
HighLevel Conversations supports image and voice messages alongside text. Send MMS messages with attached images from the Conversations Inbox – useful for sending photos of work estimates, product images, or documentation. Receive image messages from contacts and view them inline in the conversation thread. Voice messages received through certain channels (WhatsApp voice messages, for example) also appear in the conversation. Media messages are stored with the conversation history on the contact record.
Sending Image Messages (MMS)
In the Conversations Inbox message composition area, find the attachment or media button to add an image to an outbound SMS message.
MMS (Multimedia Messaging Service) sends the image alongside the text message. MMS costs more than standard SMS per message – it uses a higher LC credit rate than text-only SMS.
Image messages are useful for sending visual information quickly: a photo of a job estimate, a product image, a map to the location, or a document screenshot.
Receiving and Viewing Media
When a contact sends an image to the HighLevel LC Phone number, the image appears inline in the conversation thread – no separate download required.
Images are stored with the conversation history and remain accessible on the contact record indefinitely.
Voice messages received through WhatsApp or similar channels appear with a playback control in the conversation thread.
